Here are the top three stories today in Missoula:
- The Missoula Police Department (MPD) is asking residents of specific areas in Missoula to help identify a suspect vehicle linked to several cases of vehicle damage. They are asking individuals with security cameras to review their camera footage. The vehicle in question is described as a blue Dodge Dakota with four doors. The MPD has specified the time frames for residents to check their footage, which occurred on the morning of Wednesday, May 10th. (ABC Montana)
- Starting May 15, Street Maintenance crews will begin a street maintenance project on Brooks Street from Mount Avenue to Higgins Avenue. The project aims to repave the section of road, improving the street's durability. Motorists are urged to be cautious and consider alternative routes, if available, during this period. (Newstalk KGVO)
- A reminder for pet owners, Missoula has a city-wide leash law that requires dogs to be leashed once they leave their owners' premises. While there are some trails and parks where dogs can be off-leash, specific rules and regulations must be followed. Missoula Parks and Recreation, along with Missoula Animal Control, stress the importance of these laws for the safety of people and pets. (KPAX 8)
