Here are the top three stories today in Missoula:
- On Apr. 5, the Missoula Police Department announced that multiple persons of interest were in custody regarding the active shooter threat at Hellgate High School. The department released a statement on its social media saying there is no longer a threat to the community and the police are no longer searching for a person of interest. (Montana Right Now)
- Commissioners renewed the Five Valley Drug Task Force agreement between Missoula County and surrounding jurisdictions. The sheriff's departments in Missoula, Granite, Lake, Mineral, and Ravalli counties along with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal Police Department are all included in the agreement. It also allows the Missoula County Sheriff's Department to apply for funding for the drug task force and prosecutorial support of the Missoula County Attorney's Office. (Missoula Current)
- The May 2 election is an all-mail election; there will be no voting in-person, and polling places will not be open. Residents with a race or ballot initiative in their precinct or school district will receive a ballot in the mail after Wednesday, Apr. 12. (Missoula Votes via Twitter)

- The Montana Department of Justice announced that the Missing Endangered Person Advisory for 61-year-old Brian Bruce Hower of Missoula has been canceled. Hower has been safely located as of Apr. 4. (Montana Right Now)
