#2 Gage County Fairgrounds - Experience the solar eclipse during a family-friendly festival in Gage County. This three-day event kicks off with stock car racing, screenings of your favorite throwback films and a pancake feast. No registration is required. #3 North Platte - West Central Nebraska is predicated to be one of the top spots to see the total solar eclipse. North Platte is jam packed with hotels, restaurants and shopping, making it an excellent contender for a weekend eclipse getaway.
