• Two people avoid injury in Platte County plane crash (norfolkdailynews.com) — Emergency crews from Columbus responded after a small plane made a parachute-assisted landing in a field about seven miles north of town, and both people on board walked away uninjured. Platte County deputies secured the scene for federal investigators and are asking anyone who saw the incident to contact the sheriff’s office with information.
