• Plan for salmon production surges at Nebraska City (newschannelnebraska.com) — Nebraska City’s planned salmon facility is now expected to produce up to 20,000 tons a year, far above the original estimate, and start with about 62 employees. After a 2024 fire at the rural fish farm, Good Life Agriculture reordered construction to build a massive processing building first, avoiding wetlands permits and keeping long-term plans to raise salmon in Nebraska.
