Longtime Wall Street Journal Editor To Join Chuck Hagel At UNO Lecture On April 6

Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and editor Gerald Seib will join former U.S. Sen. and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel on Thursday for the fifth annual Chuck Hagel Forum in Global Leadership.
The pair will discuss U.S. leadership in a changing world during a presentation beginning at 7 p..m at the Strauss Performing Arts Center at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Sieb, the former Washington executive editor for the Wall Street Journal, is a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter. During his 45 years with the Journal, he moderated three presidential debates, covered the Middle East and penned the weekly βCapital Journalβ column,
More recently, Seib has served as a resident fellow at the Harvard Kennedy Schoolβs Institute of Politics, a resident fellow at the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics at the University of Kansas and a senior mentor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
Lana Obradovic, director of International Studies and associate professor of political science at UNO, will serve as moderator at the event.
This forum, which had been held virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic, is open to the public. It explores critical issues with global leaders in search of solutions to todayβs challenges.
