• BLM approves new power line project to reduce Spanish Springs outages (rgj.com) — A new 13‑mile NV Energy transmission line will run from Lemmon Valley to Spanish Springs, aiming to cut power outages and boost reliability as the region grows. Federal land managers say construction could start in 2027, with only minor, temporary visual and recreational impacts expected and long‑term benefits for homes, businesses, and public services.
