• Report shows structural issues at Winnemucca Grammar School (kolotv.com) — A new seismic evaluation shows Winnemucca Grammar School has multiple structural weaknesses and could be at risk in a major earthquake, prompting Humboldt County school trustees to consider fortifying the building. With $8 million already set aside from bond funds, the district is planning retrofits alongside ongoing HVAC and infrastructure work at Lowry High School.
