2. Turkeys abound! NH Fish and Game is asking citizens to report sightings of wild turkey flocks this winter to help them collect data on winter flocks. Simply fill out their online survey on any turkey flocks seen from Jan. 1 through March 31, 2013. Citizens are asked to report the number of turkeys in the flock, where they were seen, the type of habitat the birds were observed in, and what the turkeys were feeding on, such as acorns, beechnuts, seed at bird feeders, or corn silage.

3. Patch Fact: Did you know: Most elephants weigh less than the tongue of a blue whale.

4. Super brains. The Economist reports that geniuses are getting even smarter than before, and girls are making progress in catching up to the number of boy geniuses.
