More Snow On Friday And Saturday Will Lead To Slippery Travel Conditions In New Hampshire
The National Weather Service is also warning of cold temperatures on Friday and Saturday, and freezing rain and sleet on Sunday night.
CONCORD, NH — Chilly and stormy post-Christmas weather is on its way to New Hampshire.
Forecasters are warning of more snow and freezing rain as well as very cold temperatures this weekend. A hazardous weather outlook was issued on Thursday afternoon for Merrimack and Hillsborough counties, warning of snow on Friday and Saturday.
“Light snow accumulations may bring about slippery travel conditions Friday night and early Saturday morning,” the alert stated.

On Friday, expect temperatures in the lower 20s, but with the wind chill, it will feel like 8 degrees below zero. Snow is expected in the evening and overnight hours, but with less than an inch of precipitation in Concord and the capital region, and the Seacoast. About 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected in Nashua and southern New Hampshire.
The snow will continue on Saturday morning, but cloudy skies will remain throughout the day. Temps will be in the 20s. Overnight lows will be in the single digits.

On Sunday, expect sunny skies with temps in the mid-30s. Freezing rain and sleet are expected in the evening and overnight hours with temperatures in the teens.
The sleet and freezing rain will continue Monday morning, then turn to rain later in the day.
The run returns on Tuesday.
