5 Things: Google Maps is Back on iPhone!
And it feels like I am just too Patch to love you. There's nothing I can really say.

1. Weather report: Today will be sunny with a high of 46 degrees. Tonight will be clear with an overnight low of 27 degrees. Clouds and colder weather will be moving in Saturday, followed by some snow on Sunday.
2. Churning out volunteers. New Hampshire tops the 2012 list of states with the highest per capita number of Peace Corps volunteers. Seventy-four currently-serving Peace Corps volunteers call the Granite State home, making it the number four Peace Corps volunteer-producing state in the nation on a per capita basis. This ranking marks an increase for New Hampshire, which ranked number five last year.

3. Patch Fact: Tiny cells in plasma displays are filled with xenon and neon gases, which release photons of light when excited.
4. Thank the Navigation Gods! Google Maps returns as the less-problematic navigation application in the iPhone. Apple's own mapping app has been riddled with errors, and in some cases has left people stranded. As an iPhone owner, this is the best news all week.

5. Congrats! Nikki Durivage of Milford recently visited Beijing, China as part of a cultural immersion class at Champlain College. Durivage, majoring in Business with a specialization in Environmental Policy was one of 16 students on the trip that was led by Champlain Core Adjunct Professor Rob Williams and Assistant Professor Kristin Wolf. The course gave juniors and seniors who had been studying the culture of "New China" a first-hand look at the historic Great Wall of China and The Forbidden City along with a modern-day, post 2008 Olympics city.
