5 Things You Need to Know Today: Sept. 5

You spin Patch right round baby, right round.

1. Your weather report: Today will be rainy with a nice mix of thunder mixed in for your enjoyment, with a high of 78 degrees. The rain continues tonight with an overnight low of 62 degrees. The rain should be gone by tomorrow.

2. New Patch! Amherst Patch Editor Robert Michaelson is excited to announce the launch of Milford Patch later this month. This new community resource will provide the same quality local coverage of news, events and more for the Milford area. I look forward to growing Milford Patch in the same way that Amherst Patch has over the past year. In the meantime, you can "like" Milford Patch on Facebook and send any Milford stories and events to Robert.Michaelson@patch.com.
