Amherst July 4 Fireworks Postponed Due To Inclement Weather

The postponement of fireworks in Amherst has no impact on the July 4 parade on Tuesday, the Amherst NH Fourth of July Committee​ said.

AMHERST, NH — The Amherst July 4 fireworks display, which was originally scheduled for Monday night, have been postponed due to inclement weather, the Amherst NH Fourth of July Committee said.

The new date for fireworks in Amherst is at dusk on Sunday at Souhegan High School.

Special events, including face painting, a juggler, children's games, hot air balloon rides, live music and food, begin at 5:30 p.m.

The parade is still on for Tuesday. The parade will step off at 10 a.m. from the Wilkins School and will then proceed up Boston Post Road, turn right on Foundry Street, left on Davis Lane, left on Main Street, and will end at the Amherst Town Hall.
