Amherst Police Arrest 2 on Driving Offenses

The Amherst Police Department charged two local residents with driving offenses this week. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

• On April 7, at 5:30 p.m., police charged Matthew Benoit, 30, of Amherst, with driving after suspension. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and has an arraignment date of May 1 at the 9th Circuit Court in Milford.

• On April 8, a midnight, police charged Kristin Dodds Saltsman, 30, of Milford, with driving after suspension and driving after suspension of registration of vehicle. She was released on $600 personal recognizance bail and has an arraignment date of May 1 at the 9th Circuit Court in Milford.
