Amherst Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Accident
The following information was provided by the Amherst Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
- On March 5, 2014 at 1939 hours, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported. DRIVER 1 – Unknown. DRIVER 2 – Parked Vehicle.
- On March 6, 2014 at 0858 hours, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on County Road. DRIVER 1 – Peter Vaillancourt, age 44, of Hillsborough, NH. DRIVER 2 – George Bennos, age 51, of Concord, MA. Bennos was transported to a medical facility for treatment of minor injuries.
- On March 6, 2014, the Amherst Police Department investigated a hit and run accident which occurred on Main Street this same date at about 1550 hours.
