Voting for the New Hampshire primary elections at Souhegan High School ends at 8 p.m. tonight.
There seemed to be more people holding signs outside of the polls at Souhegan High School today than actually voting inside.
It has been another slow day at the polls, with only about 817 votes cast so far, according to town moderator Steve Coughlin.
He said that Republicans participation in this election has been much higher than their Democratic counterparts today by about a 2-1 ratio.

The new voter I.D. law passed this year has little effect on today's elections, but Coughlin said that people were either extremely happy, or very unhappy about being asked for their identification. He estimates that about 10 percent of the voters so far have chosen not to show their I.D.
