Amherst Storm Center: Snow Pushed South, Brutal Cold Here to Stay

Well, here we go again. Another snow storm that could deliver as much as 8 inches is heading toward Amherst and the first flakes could start falling later this afternoon. What makes this storm even worse is that it will be accompanied by freezing cold and high winds that could lead to some power outages.

6:30 a.m.:
A winter storm that was predicted to deliver anywhere from 4- to 8 inches of snow in southern New Hampshire stayed further south of New Hampshire thanks to the frigid blustery winds from the north and yielded only light snow.
