• Goodlander Announces Military Academy Nominations for New Hampshire's Second District (house.gov) — An Amherst student from Bishop Guertin High School is among 25 young Granite Staters nominated by Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander to attend U.S. service academies, including the Naval, Military, Air Force, and Merchant Marine academies. The announcement highlights local students’ commitment to military service and follows a spring Service Academy Day aimed at helping New Hampshire youth explore careers in the Armed Forces.
