We were so pleased to welcome Jeff Urbin from the Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum last week to give a talk, "Books, Boots, and Bridles: The Story of the Horseback Librarians." If you missed the presentation, you can now view it online (Passcode: Aut&+0L3).

Several books were recommended in the Q&A at the end for those that wanted to learn more.

Down Cut Shin Creek by Kathi Appelt is a youth nonfiction book with plenty of pictures.

The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson and The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes are both novels about the Packhorse Librarians.
