AMS Sends Supplies To Sandy Victims

Donations from the school's community filled more than twenty large boxes.

On very short notice, the Amherst Middle School community generously donated urgently needed supplies for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Donations filled more than twenty large boxes and included things such as batteries, construction and cleaning supplies, non-perishable foods, blankets, personal care items, and baby supplies.

Members of the Not So Secret Service, a club dedicated to spreading kindness in the school and the community, stayed after school to pack up all the supplies to be transported to the New York metropolitan area.
