James Tabor selected as the Saber Student-Athlete of the Week for the Week of April 2nd

James Tabor, a Senior on Souhegan’s Boys Varsity Track & Field team has been selected by Souhegan’s Varsity Coaches as the Saber Student-Athlete of the Week for the Week of April 2nd.

Tabor scored points in three events to help the Sabers to victories over Con-Val and Hollis/Brookline on Friday, April 6. James finished first in the javelin with a personal best throw of 135' 4". He also had a personal best in the discus with a fourth place spin of 104' 10". His third event was the shot, and he was second with a heave of 40' 6".

Varsity Coach John Eastman noted “James, now in his fourth season of outdoor track and field, has improved each year due to his consistent effort at both practices and meets. He is nearly always the first one at practice and is always willing to work at technique in all three throwing events.”
