Anna & Leo Return To The Amherst Town Library!
A look at what the local library has in store for you this week.

Most Popular Teenage Fiction: "Mockingjay" by Suzanne Collins. Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she's made it out of the bloody arena alive, she's still not safe. The Capitol wants revenge ... and President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe!
NOTICE: The library will be closed on October 8 in observance of Columbus Day.
The Joy of Getting Things Done. Is your life running you instead of the other way around? Do you struggle to keep up with everyday demands and challenges? The problem is often not a lack of willpower or self-discipline; it's a lack of having effective systems in place. Life Coach Linda King teaches systems and strategies to use time more effectively and incorporate new routines in your life. Be there Thursday, October 11 at 7 p.m. Registration required.

Paws For Reading. Anna and Leo, our reading therapy dogs, and their handler, Carol, will be here to listen to our children read on Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 3:30 to 4:30, and on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10:30 to 11:30. This is a wonderful way for beginning readers to practice their skills, and it's lots of fun for more experienced readers, too! To register for a 15-minute reading appointment, please call Miss Sarah or Miss Sue at 673-2288.
