Breakfast at Tiffany’s Manuscript Sells for $306K
The RR Auction item sold for much higher than expected.
A rare manuscript has been auctioned off for over $306,000 at this Amherst-based auction house.
RR Auction announced the Breakfast at Tiffany's manuscript sold for $306,667, including the buyers premium. The winning bidder was Russian billionaire Igor Sosin.
It was originally expected to sell for $250,000.

The 1958 typed manuscript of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" from author Truman Capote contains many of his edits, including some stark changes from the final draft that was printed.
The plot centers around a woman supporting herself through wealthy men, which created much contreversy during the time of its release.
