The following students have recently reached educational milestones:
More than 2,000 high-achieving students have been named to the Hofstra University Dean's List for Spring 2013. Students who began their studies before Fall 2012 must earn at least a 3.4 grade point average to qualify. Those who entered the university after Fall 2012 must earn a grade point average of 3.5. Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs Herman A. Berliner congratulates these students on their impressive academic achievement. Local students named to the Dean's List include: Amy Butenhof of Amherst, NHhas made the Spring 2013 Dean's List at Hofstra University. Amy, Class of 2014, is majoring in english . Sophie Gagnon of Amherst, NHhas made the Spring 2013 Dean's List at Hofstra University. Sophie, Class of 2013, is majoring in theater arts .
Stephanie O'Rourke of Amherst, NH, graduated May 11 from Assumption College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Kristin M. Withers, of Amherst, N.H., has been named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2013 semester.
Julia M. Geaney-Moore, of Amherst, N.H., has been named to first honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2013 semester. To be eligible for first honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s).

The following local students earned term honors for the spring semester at Skidmore College: Margeaux Cannon, a member of the class of 2014. She is the daughter of Andrew and Brenda Cannon of Amherst. Paige Duarte, a member of the class of 2014. She is the daughter of Shawn and Kim Duarte of Amherst.
Shelby Belak of Amherst, NH was named to the University at Albany's spring 2013 Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement.
