Expect Delays Traveling Between Milford And Amherst Wednesday
Repaving will reduce travel to one direction heading west on Merrimack Road starting at 7 a.m.
AMHERST, NH - Drivers traveling between Amherst and Milford will need to pack their patience on Wednesday as repaving on Merrimack Road will reduce travel to one direction starting at 7 a.m. Amherst Police sent out a notice to residents alerting that travel will only be allowed in the westerly direction until the paving is complete.
The repaving will take place from the blinking light at Route 122 toward the Milford town line.
"There will be a police detail posted at/near Border Street to prevent opposite traffic flow. No exceptions, even if you live very close to the west end," Amherst Police posted on its Facebook page.
