Firefighters Battle Chimney Fire
Here is a snapshot of activity from the Amherst Fire log from Dec. 30, 2013 through Jan. 3.
Monday, Dec. 30:
- At 9:24 a.m., firefighters responded to a reported propane leak on Route 101A.
- At 7:27 p.m., firefighters responded to a reported chimney fire on Pinewood Drive.
- At 3:59 p.m., firefighters responded to an odor of smoke or smoke seen in the area on Caldwell Drive.
- At 11:58 a.m., firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident with injury on Spring Street.
