Fireworks Near Me: Amherst's 4th Of July 2021

Amherst's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate Independence Day.

AMHERST, NH — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified, or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.

Amherst's fireworks have been canceled but the Amherst NH July 4th Committee is hosting a “reverse parade” at Souhegan High School from 9 to 10 a.m. on July 4. Residents are welcome to drive through the loop and wave to their favorite parade acts and community groups! From clowns and cheerleaders to bands and circus acts, there will be much to enjoy.

Amherst residents are also being encouraged to decorate their mailboxes, homes, and yards for Independence Day.
