Golfers to Play 100 Holes in ONE DAY
Milford Rotary is looking for sponsors and volunteers to help with this marathon sporting event.
How many holes of golf do you think you could play in one day? How about 100?
Dedicated golfers will be putting their skills and endurance to the test during Milford Rotary’s 100 Holes of Golf Tournament at the Amherst Country Club this Friday. Golfers hit the course at 6 a.m. and attempt to hustle through one hundred holes.
The golfers usually end their long day around 7:30 p.m.

The tournament not only tests the limits of the golfers, but is also dedicated to giving back to the Milford area. The tournament raised $43,000 last year that was used towards scholarships and charitable projects in the community. In all, Milford Rotary gives back over $125,000 in donations and service to Milford, Amherst, Wilton, Lyndeborough and Mont Vernon area charities and scholars each year.
You can sponsor a golfer’s efforts, which enters into a raffle. There are ten cash prizes ranging from $500 to $5,000 up for grabs. A sponsorship of 20 cents a hole (or $20) would be one entry, $.40 would be 3 entries and so on. You do not have to be at the event to win.
