CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help in finding a felon wanted in two states.

Michelle L. Deaette is 33, white, about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighs around 165 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Deaette has several tattoos, including a heart with “1935-2000” on her left forearm, the names “Charlie & Melissa” on her left wrist, the names “Zachariah” and “Kristen” on her right forearm, and a star with the names “Destiny” and “Shawty” on her neck. She has no known aliases.

Deaette is wanted on a probation violation warrant after being convicted on charges in Grafton County Superior Court in August.

“Deaette has failed to report to probation following this initial contact,” an alert stated.

Deaette, who is a sex offender due to a lewd conduct conviction in Vermont, was also accused by police in that state of failure to comply and failure to appear, a report stated.

“Deaette’s criminal history includes sex offender registry (VT) failure to comply, theft, forgery, escape, controlled drugs: possession, as well as a history of providing false information to law enforcement,” according to corrections.

Deaette, according to superior court records, was accused of receiving stolen property and drug possession after an incident in Littleton in August 2023. She was charged in April 2024.

Deaette failed to appear at her arraignment a month later. Warrants were issued for her arrest in May and June 2024. Deaette also failed to appear at a dispositional conference and was indicted on three drug charges in November 2024.

In May, she was arraigned and was released on $1,000 cash bail with conditions.

On Aug. 27, she pleaded guilty to one drug and one stolen property charge. Five other counts were nolle prossed. Deaette was sentenced to 12 months in jail, $2,027 in restitution, 112 days of time-served credit, and a one-and-a-half-to-three-year sentence, suspended for five years, and a $434 fine.

The case was reopened on Oct. 29, and a warrant was requested for her arrest, accusing her of violating probation or parole.

According to published reports, Deaette admitted to unlawful sexual contact with a boy in 2012. She was required to remain on a sex offender registry for a decade. Deaette was living in Newport, VT, at the time. In 2022, she was accused of fentanyl trafficking in St. Johnsbury, VT.
