Holiday Mail for Heroes Campaign Begins

The Red Cross program helps give thanks to those who have dedicated their lives to serving in the military.

The American Red Cross, along with the American Red Cross New Hampshire Region, will be thanking those who have dedicated their lives to serving, or are currently serving the United States military with the Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign. 

This campaign gives citizens of New Hampshire and the United States an opportunity to thank those who have or are currently defending the United States by sending holiday cards to retired and active duty members in all United States military branches.

The Red Cross is inviting the public to send messages of thanks and holiday cheer until Dec. 7 by mailing them to:

To ensure that cards are delivered in time for the holidays, they must be postmarked no later than Dec. 7. Individuals are asked to refrain from sending “care packages,” monetary donations, or using glitter or any other kinds of inserts with the cards.
