How To Fix Traffic Problems On Route 101A?
NHDOT has proposed another right turn lane and signal lights on the intersection.

Getting stuck in traffic is a daily routine for most commuters, but it is nice to know that something can be done.
NHDOT is working on improving commuter buildup at the Route 101A/101 intersection near the Amherst and Milford town line. Work isn't expected to begin until 2018, but there are many options to consider before then.
One proposal includes the addition of a signal light on the intersection, as well as an additional right turn lane onto Route 101A. The idea of another signal light on Route 101A was met with hesitation, as many said that the lights in the area are out of synch as it is.
