Icy Roads Cause 2 Hour Delay for Schools
Freezing rain has caused slick road conditions on Monday morning.

Amherst students who were scheduled to return to school this morning following the Christmas break will have to wait two hours due to icy roads.
Freezing rain has caused very slick travel conditions, which precipitated the two-hour delay. According to WMUR, the rain is expected to fall throughout the morning and early afternoon. As temperatures rise, roads that are currently covered in a sheet of ice will end up with slush.
