Irving Seeks Amherst Supervisor Of The Checklist Position

AMHERST, NH — My name is Sydney Irving and I’m running for Supervisor of the Checklist.

For the last nine years, I have been volunteering during town, state, and national elections as a ballot clerk, registering many new voters and helping with the count at the end of the night. This last year I worked with the current Supervisors to get a better understanding of the job including during our last election. I worked with the current Supervisors from start to finish for just about 16 hours. Then, in January, I was appointed as Interim Supervisor after Maggie Paul stepped down.

I have worked in data collection and management for the last 25 years and work in management for a tech firm here in New Hampshire. My hope is to help expand the Supervisors of the Checklist’s reach beyond Facebook and the town website, which are their only methods to educate and interest more individuals to register to vote and to continue the work of the wonderful Supervisors who are always working hard to keep our voter registration checklist up-to-date and accurate.
