U.S. Marines Corp. Major Christopher J. Murphy, who lives in Amherst and grew up in Nashua, has written his first book and made his dream come true, according to the Defense Video and Imagery Distribution System website.
According to the website, Murphy has written a fictional detective novel titled "Nashua," where he grew up. Murphy serves as a Logistical Officer for Headquarters Battalion, 2nd Marine Division in Camp Lejeune, N.C.
