Nearly 200 Golden Retrievers Gather At The Amherst Town Green
The annual event brings Golden Retrievers for fun games — including a parade and fashion show to raise funds for Operation Delta Dog.
AMHERST, NH — If you love Golden Retrievers, Sunday was the day to be at the Amherst Town Green, where nearly 200 Golden Retrievers came out to enjoy fun activities with the crowd.
The annual event raises funds for Operation Delta Dog, a Hollis-based non-profit organization that rescues homeless dogs and trains them to be service dogs for veterans with PTSD, TBI, or MST.
Goldens competed in games including retrieving an item from a pool, doggie "Simon Says" where the goldens had to follow directions provided by the game show host.
