NH Police Investigate Murder, Fatal Crash Over Thanksgiving
A man was murdered in Amherst on Thanksgiving and a teenager was killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 93.

AMHERST, NH -- New Hampshire police on Sunday continued to investigate a murder in Amherst and a fatal crash on Interstate 93 near Lake Winnipesaukee. Police said Bryson Peluso, 27, was charged with shooting and killing Brandon Kluz, 23, in Amherst on Thursday. The shooting happened Thursday at about 1 a.m. at a residence at 19 Baboosic Lake Road, according to New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald.
Homeowner Diane Zahn told the Union Leader there was a party with a number of young adults. Peluso arrived uninvited and was asked to leave, Zahn told the Union Leader. Peluso was held in custody after his arraignment Friday, according to the Union Leader. He was charged with second-degree murder. Read more.
The day after Thanksgiving, an 18-year-old from Massachusetts died after crashing his sport utility vehicle on I-93 in New Hampton. A 16-year-old passenger was seriously injured. Police said speed was likely a factor. Read more.

Also over the holiday weekend, police charged a driver with hitting 107 mph on I-93 and police in Concord arrested a juvenilein connection with a shooting and attempted robbery.
