• Amherst Fraudster, Former Nashua Brewery Owner Sent To Prison In Loan Conspiracy Scam, Theft: Follow-Up (patch.com) — An Amherst man who formerly owned White Birch Brewery has been sentenced to consecutive prison terms for securities fraud, theft by deception, and conspiracy tied to a nearly $1 million loan scheme. Jurors found he misused part of the investment money for personal expenses, and he will also owe restitution after release, according to New Hampshire’s Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau.
