POLICE LOG: Brookline Speeder Arrested For Disobeying Officer

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Wednesday, Sept. 5]

At 7:26 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Boston Post Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Thomas Brooks, 34, of Greenfield.

At 9:02 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Peter Roy Burgher, 45, of 37 Oak Hill Road, Brookline on charges of disobeying a police officer and unreasonable speed. Burgher was released on $400 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for September 20, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Monday, Sept. 10]

At 1:15 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jocelynne Pettigrew, 18, of 47 Liberty Avenue, Franklin on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Concord District Court. Pettigrew was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail, with a court date set for September 13, 2012 at the Concord District Court.

At 2:30 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Keanna Rodriguez, 17, of 551 Somerville Street #2F, Manchester on a charge of contempt or breach of bail conditions. Rodriguez was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for September 13, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 7:19 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested George L. Otis, 38, of 70 ½ Hollis Street, Nashua on charges of shoplifting and resisting arrest or detention. Otis was released on a summons to appear in the Milford District Court on September 20, 2012.
