POLICE LOG: Jewelry Taken In Burglary On Stearns Road

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Monday, Oct. 1]

At 4:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Robert Wilson, 46, of 135 Amherst Street #10, Amherst on charges of criminal mischief and contempt of breach or bail conditions. Bail was set at $5000 cash, with an arraignment date set for October 2, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Tuesday, Oct. 2]

At 3:06 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Marie D. Stranger, 66, of New Boston and Gary Boot, 71, of Temple.

At 5:17 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Merrimack Road.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were David McQuaide, 25, of Milford and Jessica Palmer, 16, of Mason.

At 6:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Jennifer Alexander, 42, of Brookline and Martha Jacques, 51, of Mason.

At 8:12 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Steven Merrill Parker Elliott, 22, of 32 Comstock Drive, Milford on a charge of transportation of a controlled drug. Elliott was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 18, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

[Wednesday, Oct. 3]

At 12 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Denise Mack, 49, of 4 Pond Parrish Road, Amherst on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Mack was released on $174 cash bail, and no further action is anticipated by the Amherst Police Department.

At 8:01 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at Craftsman Lane. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Bryan Jean, 27, of Hudson and Diane Roy, 47, of Milford.

The Amherst Police Department investigated a reported Burglary which occurred on Stearns Road this same date between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Numerous pieces of jewelry were taken.
