POLICE LOG: Massachusetts Man Charged With Theft By Deception
The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Tuesday, Sept. 11]
At 2:50 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Boston Post Road at Amherst Street. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Ronald Phelps, 58, of Goffstown and J. Jefferson Davis, age 68, of Amherst.

At 12:15 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Daniel Clinton Thatcher, 29, of 10 Trevor Court, Milford on a charge of shoplifting. Thatcher was released on a summons to appear in the Milford District Court on September 13, 2012.
At 5:36 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Matthew Owens, 29, of 50 Main Street #3, Pepperell, MA on a charge of theft by deception. Owens was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 18, 2012 at the Milford District Court.

At 5:40 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Donald A. Fuller, 27, of 6 High Oaks Path, Pepperell, MA on a charge of criminal liability for the conduct of another. Fuller was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for October 18, 2012 at the Milford District Court.
