Police Log: Underage Driver Crashes Car, Arrested for DWI

[Friday, August 2]
At 8:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Rachel Eileen Laliberty, 17, of 74 Cox Street, Nashua on a charge of willful concealment. Laliberty was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 29, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 9:20 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jason Brandon Haney, 30, of 233 Prescott Hill, Peterborough on charges of driving after suspension and driving after suspension of registration of vehicle. Haney was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 29, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
At 9:09 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Boston Post Road. No injuries were reported. The driver was Eric Dwinell, 20, of Amherst. Mr. Dwinell was later arrested at the scene for DWI.

At 9:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Eric Dwinell, 20, of 344 Boston Post Road, Amherst on charges of DWI, unlawful possession of alcohol, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled drug. Dwinell was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for August 21, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
[Sunday, August 4]
At 10:44 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Samantha Jane Ballou, 18, of 170 Mont Vernon Street, Milford on a charge of transportation of alcohol by a minor. Ballou was released on $200 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for September 12, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
At 11 p.m., the Amherst Police Department detained two juveniles on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Alcohol. Court action is anticipated.
[Tuesday, August 5]
At 7:29 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at Route 122. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Rachel Belmont, 32, of Milford and Mark Obermeyer, 31, of Greenville.
[Wednesday, August 6]
At 4 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Gabriella D. Redmond, 24, of 14 Sundown Drive #B, Derry on charges of receiving stolen property, criminal liability for the conduct of another and attempt to commit credit card fraud. Redmond was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for September 12, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
