Police On Lookout For Suspect In Armed Home Invasion
UPDATE: Police say suspect in Mont Vernon home invasion and assault is no longer in the area.

UPDATE: New Hampshire State Police said there is no threat to the public after a man broke into a Mont Vernon home and assaulted a resident.
In a statement issued shortly before 9 p.m. Sept. 27, State Police said:
The investigation into a home invasion in the town of Mont Vernon, N.H. is ongoing at this time. State Police have concluded an area search and found that the suspect is not in the area and there is no threat to the general public.

Police are on the lookout for a man who broke into a Mont Vernon home and committed sexual assault, according to WMUR.

New Hampshire State Police said the attack happened on Brook Road and the suspect is still at large. The attacker is described as a white man dressed in black. He was 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build.
