The Souhegan Sabers are training for the start of the season, which will take place on April 8.

The Souhegan Sabers are gearing up for another season of baseball with new faces and returning stars.

Head coach William Dod takes the Sabers into his twenty first year, with a career record of 482-379.

Peter Bennett (senior – centerfielder), Cameron Crook (senior – catcher), Tyler Ford (senior – shortstop), Seth Learned (sophomore – thirdbase), Andrew MacDonald (left field/catcher) and Tyrell Torres (senior – pitcher/ shortstop)

PROMISING NEW COMERS: 

Connor Cinque (senior (first base/pitcher), Austin Cote (senior - secondbase), Michel Ehrenstein (senior – first base/pitcher), Alex Hansis (senior – catcher), John Hopfenspinger (senior – outfielder), Bryce Knight (junior – pitcher), ChandlerMacKenzie (junior – pitcher – outfielder), Sean Mitchell (senior – second base), Steve Upton (sophomore – centerfield) and Kyle Vigneault (junior – pitcher)

OUTLOOK FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON:

The 2013 Souhegan Sabers Baseball team is preparing for the season with six and ten promising new players to the Varsity roster. Each of the players are looking forward to the challenges of participating in the highly competitive Division II league.

The team is working hard to develop team depth and roles for each individual to help the team find success.  The strength of the team is the positive enthusiasm of each member of the program and the outstanding leadership of the seniors.

The team will use the pre season trip to Florida the first week of April to prepare for the season opener on April 8.
