Snow This Week Could Make It A White Christmas For Most Of New Hampshire: Week Ahead Weather Forecast

Snow could make roads slippery on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. More snow is expected this weekend, too.

CONCORD, NH — Meteorologists are keeping an eye on the weather, wondering if there will be a white Christmas this year.

The odds, according to the latest data and hazardous weather outlook, look pretty good for most of New Hampshire.

“Accumulating snowfall is likely Tuesday through the first part of Wednesday, potentially bringing slick travel to the region,” forecasters with the National Weather Service said Monday morning in an alert.

On Tuesday, expect snow after noon with highs in the lower 30s and a light breeze. About an inch of snow is expected. The snow will continue into the evening and overnight hours.

On Wednesday, the snow is expected to continue in the morning, with wind gusts up to 20 mph. Another 1 to 2 inches are expected. Temps will drop to the teens on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day, expect cloudy skies with highs in the mid-30s. Overnight lows will be in the lower 20s.
