Remembering 9/11: What About Now?

It has been 11 years since the shocking terrorist attacks that hit our country on Sept. 11.

The terrorist attacks that hit America on Sept. 11, 2001 have made their mark on American history and will never be truly forgotten.

Today we are reminded of those we lost in these attacks and the change that shook a nation after the smoke cleared. The world has changed since airplanes were used as weapons on our nation and terrorism took root as a prominent fear in our daily lives.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed on this day eleven years ago from those attacks; lives that were taken away from thousands more families and friends across America.

Our country took a hard look back at those events during the 10th anniversary of that tragic day, but what about this year? What happens now that we have passed this important benchmark in our country?
