Selectmen Seek Candidates For Boards and Commissions
The Amherst Board of Selectmen is looking to fill vacant positions in town government.

The Board of Selectmen is seeking Amherst citizens who are interested in serving on the following Boards and Commissions:
Conservation Commission – 3 Full Members, 1 Alternate
Heritage Commission – 1 Full Member

Historic District Commission – 2 Full Members, 2 Alternates
Planning Board – 2 Full Members

Recreation Commission – 1 Full Member
Road Commission – 1 Full Member
Applications are available at the Town Hall, 2 Main Street or on-line here. They must be received by 4pm on Thursday, April 18, 2013.
This application is used specifically for appointed board positions, not elected.
Selectmen are also looking to fill a vacant seat left after the resignation of former chair Bruce Bowler. More details can be found here.
