September is Library Card Sign Up Month

Sign up for your library card! During the month of September, new patrons who register for a card at the Amherst Town Library will receive a FREE library book bag. Getting a library card is easy. Anyone living, working or owning property in Amherst is eligible for a card. Residents and property owners should present a photo ID and printed verification of address when applying for a card. Employees working in Amherst should bring a letter verifying employment signed by their employer. Children under age 12 should come with a parent. Non-residents attending Amherst schools are also eligible for a student card, valid year-round until graduation.
