Should Cemetery Fields Be Used for Recreation or Burials

Without a doubt, Cemetery Fields is the number one issue that is on the minds of Amherst residents.

There are just nine months left before the 47.5 acre property reverts to the control of the Cemetery Trustees. Meanwhile, the Friends of Cemetery Fields continue their grassroots campaign to seek a compromise where some of the land could be used to create some new recreation fields as well as future cemetery space.
