Souhegan to Honor Vets at Friday Football Game

Morning news and notes for Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Honoring our veterans. Souhegan High School's football teamwill host a special celebration at the Friday, Nov. 1 home game in honor of local veterans for their service. There will be a band presentation at 6:45 p.m. with kick-off at 7 p.m. against Hollis/Brookline. All veterans and active-duty service members are welcome to join in the festivities. Plant it Pink. On Oct. 23, the fifth grade planted approximately 200 pink tulip bulbs with the guidance of the Amherst Garden Club as a breast cancer awareness activity and as a way to make a positive connection with a part of the community. Check out a photo gallery from the project.
