2022 YMCA SUMMER CAMPS

This summer, the YMCA of Greater Nashua’s day camp programs offer kids an enriching, learning experience to help them get more out of summer break – more friendships, more accomplishments and more belonging. Camp registration is open and camp starts on June 20! Through a mix of fun and educational activities aimed at improving well-being, kids will experience new adventures, learn and master new skills, share and trade interests with friends, exchanging plenty of high-fives along the way. This summer, more than ever, the YMCA believes that kids need a camp experience.

Welcome to summer at The YMCA of Greater Nashua. We provide affordable, quality summer experiences. Whether you’re considering a traditional day camp or a specialty camp, summer at the Y is filled with excitement, adventure, new friends, lifelong memories, and most of all, discovery! With camp programs based on the Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, we provide children with a priceless experience in a safe and supportive environment where their safety is our top priority.

“With school out during the summer, many kids don’t get enough physical activity or learning—a critical gap the Y is addressing,” says Tiffany Joslin, Director of Camping Services. “At camp kids are in a safe environment with nurturing adults where they feel welcome, develop character and explore new talents and interests to reach their potential. We want to ensure that campers in our camp programs return to their school year more confident, civically-minded and believing that they can contribute to making the world a better place to live. Our programs are more than just a place to be in the summer, we will help children become the person they want to be.”

There are few unique environments as special as camp, where kids become part of a community and form friendships as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social, and educational activities every day. Amidst all the fun of swimming, sports activities, archery, and creative arts; children develop attitudes that build character and promote leadership. At the Y, we feel that every child should be given the opportunity to experience summer camp. That is why we offer more than 40 camp programs at four different Y locations in the Greater Nashua Area.
